Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on acne. To qualify, you must:

  • Be a female
  • Be between the ages of 16 and 40 years (inclusive)
  • Have at least 10 inflammatory papules or pustules on your face
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location 3 times over a 4-month period

Alopecia Areata

Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on alopecia areata. To qualify you must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a diagnosis of Alopecia Areata for at least 6 months
  • Have 30-95% hair loss (patchy, not thinning)
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location 11 times over an 8-month period

Atopic Dermatitis/Eczema

Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on atopic dermatitis or eczema. To qualify, you must:

  • Be 12 years or older
  • Have a diagnosis of atopic dermatitis/eczema for at least 6 months
  • Have active atopic dermatitis/eczema on your body at this time
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location multiples times over an extended time period (number of visits and length of time differs between studies)

Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (Hives)

Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU). To qualify, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a diagnosis of symptomatic CSU for more than 6 months
  • Have the presence of itch and hives for more than 8 consecutive weeks despite current use of H1-antihistamines
  • Have the presence of itch and hives for more than 8 consecutive weeks at any time despite treatment with omalizumab (Xolair) or intolerance to omalizumab (Xolair)
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location 16 times over an 11-month period

Discoid Lupus

Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on discoid lupus. To qualify you must:

  • Be between 18 and 75 years (inclusive)
  • Have a diagnosis of discoid lupus for at least 6 months
  • Have currently active discoid lupus lesions despite current or historical treatment with a systemic therapy
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location 16 times over a 60-week period

Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). To qualify, you must:

  • Be 12 years or older
  • Have the presence of at least 5 inflammatory hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) lesions
  • Have HS lesions in at least 2 distinct anatomic areas
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location multiples times over up to 13 months (number of visits and length of time differs between studies)

Netherton Syndrome

Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on Netherton Syndrome (NS). To qualify you must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a clinical diagnosis of Netherton Syndrome and agree to genetic testing for confirmation of diagnosis if you do not have test results confirming a SPINK5 mutation.
  • Have currently active NS lesions on the arms or lower legs
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location 5 times over a 16-week period

Notalgia Paresthetica

Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on notalgia paresthetica. To qualify, you must:

  • Be between the ages of 18 and 80 years (inclusive)
  • Have chronic, moderate to severe itch on the mid, upper back region due to notalgia paresthetica
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location 8 times over a 12-week period

Dawes Fretzin Clinical Research Group is recruiting volunteers for a research study on notalgia paresthetica. To qualify, you must:

  • Be between the ages of 18 and 80 years (inclusive)
  • Have chronic, moderate to severe itch on the mid, upper back region due to notalgia paresthetica
  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location 8 times over a 12-week period

  • Be willing to travel to our Castleton location up to 20 times over a 3-year period or 10 times over a 24-week period (number of visits and length of time differs between studies)
